Kendall & Brady’s Classic Montgomery Wedding

As my first couple, Kendall and Brady will always hold such a special place in my heart. They, along with their sweet families, were incredibly gracious and kind throughout the entire process. Their vision of a classic, Southern wedding in shades of pastels spoke right to my soul, and bringing the design to life was such a treat.

Their personalities shone through each detail: custom Cracker Jack’s for the baseball-loving groom, stroopwafels for the bride’s Dutch heritage, and a hand-painted champagne bottle complete with their crest and ceremony venue.

The day itself was joy-filled and elegant. The historic First United Methodist Church of Montgomery created a picturesque ceremony accented by stained glass and towering, arched ceilings. The reception following was timeless in its design with stunning chandeliers, florals galore, and intentional details throughout. Two champagne towers flanked the spiral staircase to greet guests upon arrival, and an array of delicious food awaited them upstairs. The cake was a showstopper framed with gorgeous arrangements and a neon sign of the couples’ last name.

After a lively bridal party entrance, heartwarming first dances, and a round of dancing, the couple opted for a fake send-off (a personal favorite) to allow everyone to be a part of their farewell without the pressure to stay to the end. With sparklers for guests, cold spark effects, and a vintage car adorned with flowers, the couple was sent off in style before coming back for more dancing and late-night snacks. The entire day was a reflection of the couple and their families, filled with Southern hospitality, plenty of laughs, and a deep love of family and friends.
